Partnership

What do you look for in a partnership?

Do you need someone to be strong where you are weak? Do you carry equal weight, or divide by intensity?

What makes you feel like a team?

Our rationale for joining a partnership may vary, but one thing remains the same: it feels good to be able to depend on your teammate.

Partnerships occur outside our home as well, in friendships, and the work place. Most of us have a wonderful partnership with Target where we give them all our money and they bring us shopping carts full of items and load everything directly into our car. They keep our children occupied with $1 slime and we keep them in business.

The times in life when we’ve struggled the most are when we have forgotten to ask for help from our teammates. When you look at problems not as yours alone but as ours, they suddenly seem more manageable. Life is just easier and more fun when it’s done together.

Ultimately it always boils down to trust. When you pick a partner for life you are essentially entering into a life-long trust fall with that person.

They will catch you and you will catch them.

You can tag them in when you are tapped out.

You can trust that what you’ve built with each other, can withstand every force at your feet.

Individually you may be strong, but together you are stronger.
